The Mission

The Nalie Foundation is a non-profit organization created in memory of Natalie “Nalie” Agustin — a beloved author, speaker, and wellness advocate who inspired millions through her journey with metastatic breast cancer.

In continuing Nalie’s legacy, the Foundation raises funds to support registered Canadian charities that provide programs and services for young women affected by cancer. These funds are granted to organizations that offer wellness programs, patient support services, research initiatives, and community empowerment — helping ensure that women receive the compassionate care and information they need.

Purpose, Activities and Beneficiaries

Wellness & Healing Programs

We support registered charities that provide practical wellness services to young women affected by cancer. These include complementary healing programs, supportive therapies, and emotional care — especially for those facing treatments not covered by public health insurance. By funding these initiatives, the Nalie Foundation helps ensure that young women have access to holistic support that nurtures both body and spirit during treatment.

Empowerment & Care Support

We fund charitable programs that empower young women to take charge of their health journey with confidence and clarity. These include initiatives that promote self-advocacy, resilience, and emotional well-being — from peer-led support groups to tools that foster trust and communication with medical providers. Every initiative we support aims to amplify women’s voices and restore a sense of self-determination through care

Hope & Resilience Initiatives

The Nalie Foundation supports organizations and agencies focused on spreading hope, healing, and knowledge. From research into early detection and treatment of cancer in young women to public education campaigns and family resource services, we fund programs that build community, awareness, and strength. Together, these initiatives honour Nalie’s legacy by offering strength where it’s needed most.
