Foundation Update

At the Nalie Foundation, we honour Nalie Agustin’s legacy by supporting charitable organizations that bring hope, healing, and strength to young women facing breast cancer. 

Throughout the year, the Foundation engages in fundraising activities to support registered Canadian charities that offer vital care, programs, and research that align with Nalie’s mission and values.

Recent Highlights 

Donor Contribution

A generous donor contributed $20,000 in honour of Nalie to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, benefiting mothers-to-be, children, and their families through enhanced care programs.

Charity Collaboration 

The Foundation is exploring opportunities to support charities that assist marginalized women navigating cancer treatment — including programs offering psychosocial, emotional, and wellness support. 

World Cancer Day Initiative

Katleen De Asis and her daughter participated in a 10km run on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Parc Jean-Drapeau to raise awareness and funds for cancer-focused charities. 

Half Marathon in Tribute to Nalie 

On September 22nd, Albert and Justin Agustin took part in a half marathon in memory of their sister Nalie, helping raise funds for egistered cancer support organizations.

Nalie’s best-selling memoir is available on Amazon. Proceeds from book sales support the mission of the Nalie Foundation by funding donations to cancer-related charities.
